Wedding Bells
Tonight we head out to Rosenort MB for the rehearsal of the wedding that we’re playing at tomorrow night. Rosenort is way fun and we can usually wind up getting into trouble. The town just calls for trouble for some reason - it always has for me.
3 years ago Jordan Dueck (former and future drummer maybe) and I built a wooden cart with no wheels, and a hook up on the front to attach to a quad. Instead of wheels, we hammered two nails into the bottom on both sides, so that when it got dragged along the pavement we had two huge streams of sparks flying out the back. Of course, we were a highlight when ‘cruise-night’ in Rosenort took place on Sunday night. I wish I had a picture of that cart.
Anyways - we must be off. Had to learn 4 songs for the wedding today, and now drive to VV to find me some half decent slacks that are wedding worthy.
(On a side note: there was a mad and awe-some storm this morning that flooded the streets in Winnipeg. Loud thunder and bright lightning make for the perfect Manitoba experience)
