We arrived safely in Winnipeg on Monday night after roughly 18 hrs of traveling. It was good to get here.

No shows this week, but a wedding that we’re playing at is on Friday, and than I think we are going camping this weekend with Sheree’s family.

It is really good to feel a buy more close to home. Winnipeg does kind of feel like a second home in Canada. Lots of family and old friends here. Home really does feel like it travels along with us when we see our family and friends.

Now we have all this time to start thinking about what we should actually do once we get home! Go to the beach, sit around in our house, work in the garden, maybe have some down time to write more if there is indeed anything I can write. Who knows.

I keep thinking about starting a gardening company with my friend Aaron. All on our bikes and with those old lawn mowers that don’t use fuel. I’d just like to do something with my hands for a while. Get back in the dirt and watch things grow. Toil and sweat.
