the Log - SHEREE PLETT & EISENHAUER

Whether we're touring, recording, booking shows, doing publicity, promoting, and all the rest, we try to document it all here. These are the notes, stories, pictures and movies of a few small artists trying to do big things.

Day 16

Terrential rain at 2 am, on route to Kitchener for a couple hours of shut eye. Jer is the captain, attending the wheel. We will wake up bright and early, to play a show in Ottawa tomorrow evening. We hopefully won’t get stuck in traffic while passing through Toronto. That would only give us one more reason to love Toronto the way that we do. We played at the blackshire pub tonight in London. Feel like a broken record, but once again it was a very small, but appreciative audience. A band called lady o lakes opened the night and were terribly good. Banjo, accordian, classical guitar and three beautiful ladies singing harmonies together. Randomly, I knew the banjo player, michelle, from abbotsford. We are feeling like Canada is quite small, the way we keep bumping into people we know. It’s refreshing when so far away from home. That’s all for now, gotta keep jer awake.
