Day 5
The only thing that is routine about touring is that there is nothing routine about touring, and any kind of regular scheduling is thrown out the window. Thus these blog postings are coming later and later each day.
Tonight we played at Portage Avenue MB church in Winnipeg. It was supposed to be an outdoor concert, complete with ice cream and parachuting, but because of the rain and wind, we kept it inside. More people showed up than we had expected, so that was nice.
After the show we went out for some grub with friends, which lead to a foozball tournament with some of the best foozers I had ever seen. I didn’t win a single match except for when me and Sheree beat another couple (whose names I won’t mention out of respect for their pride and reputation). It’s funny how a guy (like me) can get SO worked over such a simple game.
Anyways. It’s 2.30 am on Monday morning and I just finished doing sit ups to feel like less of a lazy slob. It’s hard to stay in shape when all we do is drive, eat, play music and sleep. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I could begin to get more exercise while I try and maintain this slacker life style?
Email me: info@eisenhauermusic.com.
The person with the most creative idea wins a free download code for 3 unreleased songs from Sheree’s album.
This will also be a good experiment to see if anyone actually reads this blog.
Okay- back to more sit ups and than off to dreamland.
