Day 2
It’s hard to remember where we were this morning. We left kelowna at 8:30am and drove through the Rockies. We saw a massive moose, a black bear and a deer.
Jer had never seen a black bear before (or any real bear) OR a moose, so I woke him up so he could see.
We both got turns sleeping on the bed in the back if the van and it was marvelouse to have naps back there. Jer was so happy about it that he couldn’t sleep. And apparently when I was sleeping, we drove by 3 cops on the highway. Hopeully that doesn’t happen, and hopeully the cops don’t read our blog and start following us to make sure we wear seatbelts.
The show went well tonight at Angels. We played with Dan H. (from Cowboys and Indians) and his sister and they were AMAZING. So glad we got to run into them.
The picture above is the cops showing up later on because of a noise complaint. Folk music can get rowdy too I guess.
A bowl of all-bran and raisins and we’re off to bed.
